I am so enjoying this series!! Was singing your praises to a guy at the Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes tourism marketing organization. I guess they do the Craft Your Adventure craft beverage trail & campaign. At any rate – so looking forward to following your trails come summer! Looking forward to tomorrow!

You are too generous Jen! I’ll have to check in to the Craft Your Adventure campaign. Thanks for the idea!

From a non-alcoholic drinker: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I was the designated driver for a group of friends on a wine trail near Erie, PA, and all I was offered at each stop was Welch’s grape juice, only because they were suppliers of that brand–bleh! Can you say: Borrrrr—inggg!
FINALLY, a beverage trail, just for ME!!!
I am SOO THRILLED with this series, and I’ve listed all the lakes, wineries, and drinks in Evernote so that I can bring the info up any time and visit each winery and taste every single drink!! AND you found a place with shrugs????!!! Insane!!! I LOVE shrugs! First tasted the stuff after buying a bottle of concentrate at Genesee Country Village and Museum.
I live near Letchworth State Park, so these trips will be a fantastic day trip–what would be really nice, although time consuming for you, is to make a list of the lakes with the wineries & the drinks, then also have any places of interest near those lakes that you have already written about! Then I could combine the non-wine tastings tour along with visiting some places of interest and make a great day of exploring that lake and it’s local spots. If there’s any way to search your blog for places near each lake, would you let us readers know so that we can do that? Thanks!
Thank you SO much for all the work you did on this series, as well as your fantastic blog!

You’re SSSOOOO welcome Suzie! Your thanks and generous praise are much appreciated. I’m glad there are other folks than just me who will find these lists to be helpful while exploring the region.

Maybe sometime I’ll figure out how to include a mapping feature on the site–once my website developer skills blossom a bit more. 😉

In the meantime, it looks like you found the search tool. In addition, over in the sidebar, you can click on a category that will give you a list of the posts I’ve put up for that region which should appear chronologically. It might take a little sifting through to find locales around specific lakes, but it’ll be worth the legwork.

      Safe travels!

Silly me! I just noticed the search box and entered ‘Canandaigua’, and up popped a bunch of posts with places near that lake! Didn’t try it for Keuka, Cayuga or Seneca, but I assume it will do the same.
    Thanks again for your blog!
