Standard Dry Ale Stamped Aluminum Bottle/Can Opener
The Standard Brewing Company had a long and winding history in Rochester and churned out a long list of brews in its time. In addition, they created a bunch of cool bottle openers to advertise their company throughout the years. There are some more common styles, but this one from 1952 is one of the lesser found versions.
It’s a stamped aluminum opener featuring the Standard logo on the front and on the underside is stamped with “EASI-OPEN H.R. Ransom and Co.” which was out of Detroit, Michigan. Definitely shows signs of aging and oxidation, but it’s in really great condition considering how few of these can be found online.
