Vintage 1921 Official Maps of New York book by National Survey Co. C.V. Crocker, Topographer out of Chester, Vermont.
These maps were created from United States government surveys, official state surveys, and original sources by Crocker and compiled into this book of 80 pages of colored maps. It features all roads, state highways, railroads, trolley lines, town and county boundaries, railroad stations, steamship routes, post offices, telegraph and express offices. Each town is indexed with 1920 population statistics and there is a special key showing the “banded pole routes” in the actuarial color. Measures 8 5/8 x 5 3/8 inches.
The spine of the book is in tact and all pages are attached, but it definitely shows its age. Some pencil markings on inside. Edges of pages show discoloration and there is some “old book smell”. No tears, no rips! Outside of the dry binding, this is in great shape considering it is almost 100 years old!
